Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company, the OEM of Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft, in response to mass media publication regarding decrease of SSJ100 fleet reliability is hereby issuing the statement as follows: current statistics demonstrates the positive trend as per all main reliability and regularity indicators of the fleet within the period from July 2016 till June 2017.
- Within specified time dispatch reliability indicator of SSJ100 fleet has increased up to97.85 % in June 2017 against 96,94% in July of 2016.
- In June 2017 number of failures per 1,000 flight hours (“К1000 indicator”) has decreased to 89.6, demonstrating 40% improvement in comparison with the same parameter in the beginning of the reporting period.
- in June 2017 fleet regularity was 97.87% against 96.99% in June of 2016.
With the current dynamics in place a steady improvement of indicators is expected.
Any aircraft OEM is constantly working on improvement of AC reliability through all its life-cycle. SCAC is permanently implementing the program of SSJ100 reliability improvement covering a full set of support services rendered to operators and consisting of a comprehensive plan of design, production, information and administration actions a major part of which has been already implemented. At the same time it’s necessary to underline that each operator plans for itself when to put the aircraft on ground for scheduled maintenance, defects rectification and embodiment of Service Bulletins.
For its own part, in order to increase AC operation efficiency SCAC has ensured 95% replenishment of the warehouses. Operator’scritical requests performance has increased by more than two times. Improvement of these parameters was possible due to growth of replenishment of the feeding warehouse in Zhukovsky by several times. In April-June the parameter has shown a stable growth confirming the steadiness of positive dynamics.
