On January 20, 2016 the twenty fifth Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft joined Aeroflot fleet. The aircraft operated a ferry flight from the Delivery Center of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company to its base site in Sheremetyevo International Airport.
SSJ100 with the tail number RA – 89056 was named after the pilot, the Honored Worker of Transport Industry, Nikolay Rubtsov.
Sukhoi Superjet 100 was delivered to the airline under the financial leasing agreement between Sberbank Leasing and Aeroflot.
The Sukhoi Superjet 100 for the Russian national carrier features 87 seats in a two-class configuration: 12 business and 75 economy.
Currently the airline carries out flights on the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft to numerous destinations in Russia and Europe.
